Mr. Gene Gaines, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born on July 25, 1942 in Brownsville, Tennessee to the late Robert Eugene Gaines and Opal Elizabeth Morris. He served in the United States Navy.

Mr. Gene is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Darla Gaines of Jackson, Tennessee; son, David Gaines of Jackson, Tennessee; brother, Mark Gaines of Mobile, Alabama; and one granddaughter, Abigail Gaines.
