A.C. “Red” Hill

Mr. A.C. “Red” Hill age 83 of Bells, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 in Alamo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born June 10, 1936 in Haywood County to the late Noah “Toy” Hill and Omie Jones Hill. Mr. Hill owned and operated Hill’s Filling Station for many years. He later worked a Wilhite’s Truck Stop, Pictsweet and most recently for Crockett County at the Bells/Fruitvale Convenience Center.
In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Hill; infant son, J.T. Hill; four sisters and two brothers, Naomi Jones, Orene Hayes Keltner, Irene Jones, Alice Burns Jackson, J.G. Hill and James Hill; son-in-law, Clyde Antwine, Jr.
Survivors include his daughter, Debra Antwine of Humboldt; two sisters, Edna Brooks of Missouri and Mr. Hill’s twin sister, Tiny Bonilla of Puerto Rico; grandson, Jeffrey Antwine and wife AliJarratt of Brownsville. Other survivors include three great grandchildren, Dakota, Bailey and Drake Antwine as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers are, Billy Jones, Bobby Jones, David Jones, Don Hayes, Steven Hayes and Roger Hill.
Funeral services for Mr. Hill will be conducted Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Bells First Baptist Church with the pastor, Bro. Mark Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Oakview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
