Memorial services for Mr. Alfred Childress, age 52, will be held 2 pm Monday, April 27, 2015 at Liberty Hall Full Gospel Church in Gadsden, TN with Bro. Dewayne Brown officiating.
Mr. Childress died April 23, 2015 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born November 23, 1962 to the late Edgar Childress, Jr. and Joyce Smith Childress. Mr. Alfred worked in construction most of his life.
Alfred was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Elmer Lee Childress.
He is survived by four children; Martha Bratcher ( Darrell Bratcher) of Frankfort, KY, Tara Wright (David) of Alamo, TN, John Daniel Palmer (Jessica) of Port Hadlock, WA, Jessica Marie Allum of Port Hadlock, WA; siblings; Brandon Spees (Melissa) of Paducah, KY, Kathy Elbert (Steve) of Winston, OR, Rebecca Fortenberry (John) of Gadsden, TN, Connie Eddie (Ricky) of Milan, TN, Arlene Goad (Gary) of Gibson, TN, Eugene Childress (Tina) of Milan, TN; eight grandchildren, Colton, Dillion, Annagail, Carson, Jada, Deziray, Luke, Nathan; three step-grandchildren, Travis, Haley, Matthew; one step-grandson, Christopher Aiden ;seventeen nieces and nephews; thirty-one great-nieces and newphes; a second mom, Mary Smith and a close friend and brother, Steve Jordan.
