Mrs. Alice Hurley, age 82, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born on May 21, 1939 in Carroll County to the late Willie Thomas West and Ada Catherine Conder.

In addition to his parents, Mrs. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hurley; son, Robert Dale Hurley; brother, William Roy Payne; and sister, Jacqueline Payne.

She is survived by her son, Phillip Gregory Hurley (Danita) of Bradford, Tennessee; brother, Billy West (Linda) of Milan, Tennessee; four sisters, Patsy Cody (Joey) of Milan, Tennessee, Rebecca Goetz of Milan, Tennessee, Sandra Payne Sable (Jeffery) Savannah, Tennessee, and Cathy Gail Willis (Mike) of Mississippi; four grandchildren, Phillip Hurley (Meagan), Shanna Wells (James), Casey Hays (Gina), and Jonathan Hughes; and sixgreat grandchildren, Anna Belle Hurley, Andrew Hurley, Braydin Jones, Tripp Wells, Patrick Hughes and Madison Holt.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Tabernacle of the Living God with Pastor Buster Groves and Phillip Hurley officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 17, 2022 and again of Friday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at Tabernacle of the Living God.
