Amy Pruett, age 39, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born on February 9, 1984 in Jackson to Bettye Cole Evans and the late Jerry Childress.

In addition to her father, Amy was preceded in death by her sister, Natasha Holder; grandparents, James “Boots” Childress, Louise Childress and Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Cole; and cousin, Jimmy Fullington.

She is survived by her mother, Bettye Evans and her husband Billy of Jackson; two sons, Austin Franks (Lily) of Jackson and Payton Pruett of Jackson; daughter, Emma Pruett of Jackson; brother, Dewayne Childress (Kimberly) of Lexington; sister, Jeanie Thrasher (Kevin) of New Albany, Mississippi; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
