Angela Renee “GG” Glisson

Funeral Services for Ms. Angela R. Glisson also known as “GG”, age 49, will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, October 17, 2019 in the Chapel of Medina Funeral Home, 302 West Church Avenue in Medina, with Rev. Justin Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.

Ms. Glisson was born  October 7, 1970 in Jackson to Shirley Jean McDonald Whitmore and the late Earl Whitmore. She passed away October 12, 2019 in Jackson, Tennessee.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Horne.

Surviving relatives included her son, Hunter Glisson (Jessica); daughter, Gabrielle “Gabby" Glisson; mother, Shirley Whitmore; brothers, Wayne McDonald (Andrea) and Jesse Whitmore (Elizabeth). She had one grandchild Michael Lee Glisson. Other survivors include special cousins, Leon Cupples (Wendy), Mary Hollis (Toby) along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne McDonald, Health McDonald, Jesse Whitmore, Jay Glisson, Avery Cupples and Eddie Presley.
