He was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 28, 1940.

In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by his brother, Alex Apuzzo.

He is survived by is son, Nick Apuzzo of Dyer, Tennessee; adopted daughter, Tammy; adopted son, Matthew Apuzzo; brother, Phillip Peduzzi; several aunts and uncles; and three grandchildren, Dominic Apuzzo, Chyanne Apuzzo and Tony Springer.
