Anthony Tweedy, of Lavinia, TN is in the care of Medina Funeral Home. The family will hold a visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.   The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm with Bro Steve Osborne officiating.  Burial will immediately follow the service at Independence Church of Christ Cemetery, Lexington, TN.

Anthony was born April 15, 1947 in Madison County, TN and departed this life September 2, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents; John Henry and Winnie (Jones) Tweedy, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Anthony attended and was a member of Lavinia Baptist Church, Lavinia, TN.  He was the owner of Ace Septic Service.

Anthony is survived by his sons; Anthony Loren Tweedy, Nashville, TN, Joshua Brian Tweedy, Jackson, TN, sister; Barbara Banks, Fort Worth, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
