Barbara Sue Shows Greer, age 72, died at her home in Medina, Tennessee, on Sunday, March 17, 2019, due to ovarian cancer.

Born February 12, 1947, in Columbia, Louisiana, she lived in Amite, LA; Hammond, LA; Baton Rouge, LA; Columbia, SC; Mobile, AL; Knoxville, TN and Memphis, TN, before settling in Medina. She worked for 35 plus years as a schoolteacher, retiring in 2008. Barbara was a member of the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Humboldt.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Murry Greer, her sister Ruth Sorbet, her daughters Gabrielle Boals and Alison Jackson, and grandchildren Alex, Emma, Joslin, Kiersten, Reagan, Greer, Gracyn, Colin, Cohen, Lawson, and Kennedy.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 23, at the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 1528 Presbyterian Drive, Humboldt, Tennessee. Relatives and friends are welcome at the service.
