Mr. Benjamin Woods, age 77, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at NHC Healthcare in Milan, Tennessee.

He was born on February 21, 1943 in Iowa City, Iowa to the late Benjamin Franklin Woods, Sr. and Violet Weese Woods.

Mr. Benjamin was the chief of police in Bradford for fourteen years. He also worked many years at Good Year in Union City, Tennessee. Mr. Benjamin retired as Lieutenant from the United States Navy after twenty-two years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Woods.

Mr. Benjamin is survived by his wife, Delores Young Woods of Bradford, Tennessee; two sons, Robert Woods and his wife Kimberly of Arkansas and Benjamin Franklin Woods, III of Bradford, Tennessee; brother, Duane Woods of Iowa; three sisters, Verla Colther of Iowa, Helen Lawrence of Iowa and Patricia Hingley of Iowa; and four grandchildren.
