Cremation services were conducted for Mr. Bennie Wade Johnston of Dyersburg, TN. He died September 18, 2015 at his home.
A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
He was born to the late Wade Edgar Johnston and Ellie Marshall Johnston in Lee County, MS in 1936. He was a graduate of Nettleton High School, Ole Miss University, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired C.P.A.
He was preceded in death by his wife ; Nancy Jo Davis, grandparents; Robert F. and Grace Tate Johnston, John and Susie Marshall Clayton, brother-in-law; Murray Lamar Moore.
He is survived by a brother; Richard Johnston, wife Maggie of Columbus, sisters; Jo J. Moore of Tupelo, Ruth Tubb, husband Charles of Aberdeen, Sara Prout, husband Will of Bay Springs, Pat Davis, husband Jack of Columbus, Carol Andrews, husband David of West Point.
His Family thanks his very special friend, Mary Liz Preslar and Home Hospice.
