Betty Ruth Byrd Garvey Pearson, 80 of Alamo, passed away on December 14, 2018 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Memorial services will be held at Grace Chapel, 210 Oakmont Cove, Bells TN, on December 22, 2018 at 4:00 p.m., with Mr. Johnny McKeel officiating.

Betty Ruth Byrd Garvey Pearson was born December 2, 1938 to James Ellis and Bessie Ann Byrd.

She is preceded in death by her parents: James and Bessie Byrd, spouses: Bobby Garvey and Larry Pearson, 2 brothers: James Byrd and Gene Byrd, son: Hal Garvey (Debbie).

She is survived by her children: Eddie Garvey (Elaine), Tammy Fleskes, Cindy Garvey (David Mathias), Danny Garvey (Lisa), 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
