Mrs. Betty Jean Motes, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born on October 19, 1940 in Perry County to the late Leonard Campbell and Carrie Harder Campbell.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Tal Motes and two brothers, Leonard Campbell, Jr. and Robert Campbell.

She is survived by two sons, Jim Thomas of Michigan and Robert McKnight of Michigan; daughter, Cindy McKnight of Michigan; two sisters, Barbara Jones of Trenton, Tennessee and Cassie Cromwell of Arizona; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
