Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Ray Dampier, age 69, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Gospel Tabernacle Church in Gibson, TN with Oskar Seiber and Kerry Ziess officiating. Burial will follow in Gibson County Memory Gardens.
Mr. Dampier departed this life on November 12, 2014 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Clarks, LA to the late Cordell and Tina Mayberry Dampier. Mr. Dampier worked in sales for most of his life and served as a minister.
His parents and one sister preceded him in death.
Mr. Dampier is survived by his wife, Barbara Pitts White of Gibson, TN; sons, Billy Dampier and wife Tammy of Milan, TN, Mike Dampier and wife Linda of Rayville, LA; step-son, Donnie White of LaSalle, IL; siblings, Connie Porter, Delores Cherry, Eva Nell Carter, Glory Smith, Virginia Wyatt, Cordell Dampier, Jr.; eleven grandchildren.
Visitation with the Dampier family will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 from 5 until 9 p.m. at Gospel Tabernacle Church in Gibson.
