Brenda Diane “Kuykendall” Milam

Humboldt, Tennessee

Brenda Milam, age 74, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born on May 13, 1948 in Osceola, Arkansas to the late Homer Kuykendall and Mary Peterson Kuykendall.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Kuykendall and six sisters, Marcia Self, Frances Johnson, Regina Tibbs, Sandra Staggs, Linda Kuykendall and Pam Kuykendall.

She is survived by her son, Ricky Cruse (Tammie) of Gadsden; daughter, Dena Cruse (Melanie) of Lexington; brothers, Garland Kuykendall of Humboldt, Farris Kuykendall of Alabama, Herschell Kuykendall of Humbodlt and Joe Kuykendall of Mississippi; sister, Bonnie Kuykendall of Michigan; three grandchildren, Dustin Cruse (Misty), Brandon Pickard (Kristie)and Jake Pickard (Alina); five great grandchildren, Glenn Cruse, Emma Cruse, Addie Pickard, Braylon Pickard and Hazel Pickard.

Other survivors include several nieces and nephews as well as her sweet baby and four legged companion, Gidget Elaine.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Gadsden Community Center.
