Brooklyn Elise Pinckley

Brooklyn Elise Pinckley age 17 of Bath Springs, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024, in Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro.

She was born September 27, 2006, in Jackson. Brooklyn was always laughing, enjoyed music, dancing, all types of animals, and anything involving a princess. She liked to visit with her friend Miss Louise as they were thankful for the time they spent together. Brooklyn always had a motherly quality and tried to, "mother" those she was around including her younger sister. During her life, she lovingly impacted anyone she came into contact with, especially at school. A sophomore at Riverside High School, she left her special mark, as without her presence, the school will not be near as bright. If you knew her, you loved her and she loved you too.

Brooklyn is preceded in death by a grandmother, Sharon Pinckley and a grandfather, Rosco Tharp.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother and stepfather, Angela Weatherford Tharp and Rodney of Bath Springs; father and stepmother, Ben and Misty Pinckley of Waynesboro; three brothers, Weston Pinckley of Bath Springs, Ryle Tharp of Bath Springs and Jacob Maness of Reagan; two sisters, Caroline Tharp of Bath Springs and Katlyn Maness of Reagan; Grandparents, Danny and Teresa Weatherford of Parsons, Roy Pinckley of Waynesboro, Evelyn Tharp of Decaturville, Vickie Inman of Decaturville and Ricky and April Inman of Bath Springs as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Brooklyn will be conducted Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Church with Bro. Steve Weatherford and Rodney Tharp officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the church from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
