“Bubba” Bruce Darnell
“Bubba” Bruce Edward Darnell age 63 was born January 31, 1950. He passed October 14, 2013 and was preceded in death by his parents George Thomas and Janie McFarland Darnell.
Bubba was the owner and operator of Big Bubba’s Tavern and Big Bubba’s Market, well known for his BBQ. He also was a Pro-wrestler for over 20 years as Big Brutus with the WWF and locked up with some the legends in the pro-wrestling world.
Bubba leaves his wife of 43 years; Nancy Darnell, daughter; Angel (Gary) Fly, son; Tony (Brandi) Darnell, grandson; Kyle Fly, brother; Thomas Darnell, sister; Helen Campbell.
A memorial service will be 4 pm Sunday, October 20, 2013, at the Chapel of Medina Funeral Home, with Eddie Bolton officiating.
Visitation is Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. at the funeral home.
