Mrs. Cara Nell Miller, 94, of Humboldt, went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2020.

She was born December 15, 1925, in Hardin County, Tennessee to Claude and Pennye Harris.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leon Miller; three sisters, Nerine Loyd of Beech Bluff, Ina Mae Wright of Memphis, and Helen Piercey of Humboldt; a brother, Douglas Harris of Jackson; and spouses.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Linda ( Ken) Loden of Mantachie, Mississippi and Donna Miller of Jackson; grandchildren, Jerry ( Kim) Young of Humboldt, Penny ( Steve) Frank of Memphis, and Mike ( Juleigh) Porter of Cookeville; great- grandchildren, great-great -grandchildren, and extended family.  Mrs. Cara also is survived by her sister, Emogene ( A. B. ) Lott of Humboldt.
She retired from Sears. She was an excellent homemaker and seamstress. She was a charter member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Humboldt.

A private service will be held at Medina Funeral Home on Thursday, January 23, 2020 with burial to follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Humboldt, Tennessee.
