Charles Orvel Barber, age 74, of Jackson, TN is in the care of Medina Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at Campbell Street Church of Christ in Jackson, TN from 11-2pm on Saturday, January 21, 2017 with a Memorial Service following at 2pm.
Charles was born on June 9, 1942 in Jackson, TN and departed this life on January 16, 2017 in Adamsville, TN. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Jack Tillam & Violet Stanton Barber; brother, David Barber; and sister, Donna Anderson.
Mr. Barber worked at Liberty Supermarket as manager for many years. He retired from Jackson-Madison County General Hospital as a maintenance worker.
He is survived by his wife, Lula Barber; son, Scott (Michelle) Barber; daughter, Holly (Jay) Kopmeier; grandchildren, Jacob & Jonathan Barber and Cailyn & Connor Kopmeier; sisters; June White and Betty Kemp; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Adamsville Nursing Home. They were extremely helpful and took great care of Charles. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your charity of choice.
