Mr. Charles Anthony "Tony" Mathias
Funeral services for Mr. Tony Mathias, age 56, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the chapel of Gibson Funeral Home with Rev. Don Prescott officiating. Burial will follow in Double Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Mathias died Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital from complications of a stroke.
He was born in Milan, TN to the late Bill and Joy Bogle Mathias and educated in the local schools. Tony was loved by God and his family.
Tony is survived by his siblings; Barry Mathias; Sheila Walters and husband Keith; niece, Amber Essory and husband Sean; nephew, Dustin Walters and wife Caryn, Tatum and Nolan Walters.
