Mr. Charles Trimmer, age 82, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born on February 15, 1940 in Madison County to the late Homer Trimmer and Annie Williams Trimmer. Charles was retired truck driver of thirty-five years.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny, Ralph, Neil, Robert and Gerald.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Bettye Arnold Trimmer of Humboldt; daughter, Tammy McGill and her husband David of Milan; brother, George Trimmer of Humboldt; two grandsons, Matt McGill and his wife Sonya of Humboldt and Scott McGill and his wife Elizabeth of Clarksville; three additional grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and close friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Avondale Baptist Church in Humboldt with Bro. Richard Bragg and Bro. Howard Avery officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the service hour on Thursday at the church.
