Mrs. Christie Lynn Johnson Newman, age 45 of Henderson, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019.

She was born on January 7, 1974 in Madison County to the late O'leen Parker and Jerry Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, Christopher Newman; two sons, Bart Brawley of Jackson and Dillon Carloss of East Tennessee; one daughter, Destiny Kinkade of Pinson; her father, Jerry Johnson (Faye) of Ramer; and three sisters, Tammy Thomas of Jackson, Deonna Bennett of Henderson and Angie Williams of Jackson. Other survivors include four grandchildren.
