Chrisine Rodriguez, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born on December 3, 1934 in Luxora, Arkansas to the late Walter Johnson and Novie Holland.

In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by husbands, Horace Cook, Virgil Lewis, and Ambroca Rodriguez; brother, Buddy Walter Johnson, Jr.; sister, Betty Plunk; and daughter-in-law, Abby Lynn Cook.

She is survived by four sons, Sidney Marshall Cook of Jackson, Tennessee, Micheal Monroe Cook of Jackson, Tennessee, Howard Wayne Cook (Carolyn) of Jackson, Tennessee, and John C. Lewis (Debbie) of Trenton, Tennessee; two daughters, Katherine Louise Cook Kilpatrick (Glenn) of Bellavista, Arkansas and Marilyn Gail Kendrick (Randy) of Jackson, Tennessee; brother, Robert Joseph Douglas Johnson of Jackson, Tennessee; one sister, Lilly Pearl Hayes of Bells, Tennessee;  fourteen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 16, 2021 in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 A.M until the service hour.
