Clyde R. “Cooky” Murphree
Age 70 departed on Friday September 28, 2012. He was born March 10, 1942 to the late Quinton and Jane Turner Murphree in Medina, TN. Clyde was in the Navy, an avid fisherman, hunter, worked in the automotive field as a salesman for Steve Marsh Ford and Gary Simmons Chevrolet.
Clyde leaves his children: Nancy (Mike) Holladay, Michael (Tammy) Murphree all of Medina, Grandchildren: Linzy Witherspoon, Mitzi Murphree, Andy Murphree, Brothers; Jack Murphree of Milan, of Murphree of Memphis, Charlie Murphree of Milan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Carol.
Memorial services are 7 pm, Sunday September 30, 2012 from the Chapel of Medina Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Sanderson officiating.
Visitation 5-7 pm Sunday prior to the services.
