Colbert Blisset, age 81, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at his home in Jackson, Tennessee.

He was born on October 23, 1942, to the late Ed Blisset and Pattie Booker Blisset.

In addition to his parents, Colbert was preceded in death by five brothers, Albert Blisset, Charlie Blisset, CW Blisset, Robert Blisset and Dennis Blisset and four sisters, Mary Young and husband Eugene, Jeanette Friend and husband Tee, Eddiemae Rodgers and husband Pat and Eulamae Moore and husband Arthur.

He is survived by his caretaker and niece, Tnoila McCoy and her husband Charles of Jackson; host of nieces and nephews; and sister-in-laws, Versie Blissett, Rosie Blisset, Dorothy Blisset, Gwen Blisset and Daisy Blisset.

A memorial service will be held in Chicago at a later date.
