Mr. Dan Y. Hodgson

Trezevant, TN- Memorial services for Mr. Dan Hodgson, age 79, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Trezevant United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until service time at the church.
Mr. Hodgson died September 3, 2015 at his home.
He was born in Trezevant to the late Marvin and Edna Yancey Hodgson and was educated in the local schools. Mr. Hodgson proudly served the United States in the Air Force and served in the Navy. He was a retired farmer, steel worker and campground host. Dan served his church, Trezevant UMC, as a Sunday school superintendent for many years; coached youth baseball; served on the Carroll County Commission and was a huge Cardinal's fan. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jim and Tom "Pinky".
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Clara Jo Hodgson; daughters, Doni Phillips and husband John, Linda Hodgson, Anita Lane and husband Mike; son, John Hodgson and wife Angie; grandchildren, Tom "Danny" York and wife Sarah, Andy York, Madison Lane, Atticus Hedge Hodgson; great-grandchild, Calder York; sister, Peggy Hopper and husband Roy.
