He was born on July 17, 1992 in Martin, Tennessee to Danny Moeckel and Lisa Holmes.

DJ is survived by his father, Danny Moeckel (Kelly) of Milan; mother, Lisa Holmes (Michael) of Trezevant; brother, Marshall Moeckel (Jaymee) of Milan; and sister, Savannah Moeckel (Danarius) of Milan.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 6, 2023 in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home.
