David Betterman, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born on September 1, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Eugene Charles Betterman and Julia Eaglestein Betterman.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Betterman; daughter, Tracy Cannon; and three brothers, Gene Betterman, James Betterman, and Johnny Betterman.

He is survived by two sons, John Betterman and his wife Jennifer of Alabama and Michael Cannon and his wife Jane of Medina, Tennessee; two daughters, Diane Betterman of Florida and Amanda Betterman of Trenton, Tennessee; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
