DC Sawyers

DC Sawyers, age 76 of Trenton, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. 

He was born November 4, 1947, in Roellen, TN. He was raised by his parents, the late Demetria Jarnigin and Obbie Dedman. Mr. Sawyers was a United States Army Veteran and retired truck driver. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Hankins Sawyers and by a sister,  Darlene (Pennie) Denton.

Survivors include three sons, Gregory Sawyers of Virginia, Kevin Sawyers of Tennessee and Keith Sawyers of Missouri. Other survivors include four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Keene, Matthew Sawyers, Kirsten Sawyers and Chazz Sawyers as well as two great grandchildren, Colton Greenleaf and Brielle Keene.
