He was born on October 14, 1937 in Hohenwald, Tennessee to the late Sam Hatcock and Ophie Hill.

Mr. Delton is survived by his three sons, Michael Hathcock, Rich Hatcock and Delton Hathcock; brother, Vernie; two sisters, Ressie and Mearle Faye; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
