Dennis Lee Burgess, Jr. age 52 passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Lee was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing with his children. He had numerous close friends and never met a stranger.

He was born on September 16, 1969 in Jackson, Tennessee to Mary Ann Hamilton Burgess and the late Dennis Lee Burgess, Sr.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Matt Griffin.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; one daughter, Karlee Burgess; one son, Trey Burgess; his mother, Mary Ann Burgess; sister in law Julie Holladay (John); brother in law, Mike Griffin (Norma) and Brian Griffin and uncle Jerry Burgess (Darlene). Other survivors include nephews, Kevin Hunt (Anna), Derrick Griffin (Amber), Josh Griffin, Blake Griffin and Barry Maitland (Cindy); nieces, Mya Guinn and Heather Griffin.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
