Mr. James Dennis Wilson age 58 of Humboldt, TN died Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare, Jackson. A memorial service will be celebrated 7 pm Monday, May 9, 2016, at Medina Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 – 7 pm.
He was born September 30, 1957 in Maryville, TN son of Judy Coppinger Wilson and the late James William Wilson. Dennis had a knack for fixing everything from dinner to washing machines, motorcycles and computers. He did lights and sound for Waylon Jennings, Wynonna Judd, David Ball, Tiffany, Elton John, and many others.
In addition to his mother, Dennis is survived by his wife, Susan Dunlap Wilson, children; Jennifer Hensley of Townsend, Vanessa Coleman of Nashville, Sarah Anna Wilson and Keaton Wilson of Humboldt, sisters; Cindy Gardiner of Ocala, FL, Lisa Kimball of Maryville, Tammy Sparks of Townsend, grandchildren; Kobe and Tyler Hensley of Townsend.
