Elizabeth Stines, 99, died peacefully on March 20, 2017 at Alexandria Place, Jackson, TN. Tootsie will always be remembered for her wit and spunk.
She was born in Gibson County to the late Lloyd and Georgia Betts and was preceded in death by her husband, John Stines, brothers Billy Betts and Howard Betts and son-in-law, Gary McDearmon.
Tootsie is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Stines) McDearmon, Medina, TN and her son Tom (Angela Gail) Stines, Medina, TN. She is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren in Tennessee, Illinois and Australia.
A family service will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Appreciation is expressed to the staff of Alexandria Place, Avalon Hospice, and Ross Caregivers. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Tootsie.
