Ms. Doris Anne Knolton Powell age 79 of Oakfield, TN is in the care of Medina Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 12 pm Friday April 15, 2016 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Steven Fonville officiating. Burial will follow in Oakfield Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-12 pm Friday at the church.
Ms. Powell departed this life Tuesday April 12, 2016 at Jackson General. She was born September 18, 1936 in Humboldt, TN daughter of the late C.A and Laura Lucille Rutherford. She made her living working for the Nova School as the cafeteria manager. Her husband preceded her in death: Frank Piercey, brother; Ralph Knolton and her parents.
Ms. Powell is survived by her niece; Joy McDaniels her spouse Keith, brother; Larry Knolton, great nieces and nephews; Rachelle McDaniels, Ashten McDaniels, Allie McDaniels, Riley McDaniels, nephews; Mark Knolton, James Knolton.
The family would like donations made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
