Emily 'Jane' Boone Ward

Visitation for Jane Ward will be held Friday night, September 5, 2014, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Gibson Funeral Home in Gibson, Tennessee. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Ward, 87, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014, at Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, from injuries she suffered in an automobile accident.

Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Robert Wayne Ward Sr.; parents, Agnes Flynn Boone and Hiram C. Boone Sr.; brothers Hiram (Bub), Jack, Billy, Paul, and Dan Boone; and sister Ellen McClarty.

She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Ward, Gibson, TN and Charlotte Ward, Nashville, TN; and two sons, Robert Wayne 'Bob' Ward Jr., Humboldt, TN and William Alan 'Billy' Ward of Humboldt; six grandchildren Margaret 'Leigh' Williams (Jeff) Kimberling City, MO; William Boyd 'Billy' Loflin (Anne), Gibson, TN; Emily Jane Larson, Port Allegany, PA; Elizabeth Danalds (Tyler), Nashville, TN; Ellen Cowens (Ben), Jonesboro, AR; Billie Anne Ward, Humboldt, TN; 11 great-grandchildren LCpl Jake Ellis (Jennie) of Kailua, HI; Sarah Elizabeth Loflin, Humboldt; Ben, Katie and Hayden Kite of Kimberling City, MO; Evan, Alex and Anna Danalds, Nashville, TN; Alison, Blake and Cannon Loflin of Gibson, TN; sisters Ann Callicutt of Texas; Agnes Cross of Arkansas; and Roberta Scott (Jimmy) of Mississippi.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association.
