Eric Lois Whitaker, age 33, of Humboldt, TN is in the care of Medina Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held 2pm Wednesday, May 17th at Humboldt Church of God with a burial following at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 16th 5-9pm and Wednesday prior to the service 11-2pm at Humboldt Church of God.
Eric was born December 27, 1983 in Jackson, TN and departed this life, surrounded by loved ones in his home May 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Retha White, Obee Morris, Hattie Whitaker, & Jess Whitaker.
His family said that he loved to go fishing. It was his favorite hobby. He was also a volunteer for the Rescue Squad of Gibson County.
He is survived by his parents, Terry & Dena Whitaker; sisters, Brandy Corbin, Crystal Smith, Erin Cagle, Kendyl Whitaker, & Alexis Whitaker; 3 nieces; 5 nephews; and several cousins, aunts, & uncles. Pallbearers will include: Matt Smith, Artie Barrett, Ronnie Rainey, Christian Rainey, Justin Rainey, Brandon Askew, & Aaron Bolin.
