Memorial services for Mrs. Evelyn Bates, age 69, will be held 5:30 pm Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Rollins officiating.
Evelyn died Saturday, January 18, 2015 at Jackson-Madison County General.
She was born in Gibson County.
Evelyn retired from the Milan Arsenal where she worked in Quality Control, she also was the owner at the Y restaurant in Atwood and ran the Elks Dinner in Trenton, TN. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Tina Marie Dycus and brother; William Terry ”W.T.” Coffman.
Evelyn is survived by her husband; James Bates, son; Tim “Possum” Keeling, wife Tanya, granddaughter; Sable Leigh Estes all of Trenton, sisters; Barbara Ann Bruner and Betty Jo Holt.
Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday, January 21 from 4 pm until service time at 5:30 pm at the funeral home.
