Mr. Frankie Carter age 63 of Bells, passed away Thursday. December 27, 2018 in Regional One in Memphis.
He was born September 12, 1955 in Alamo to the late Harlie Harold Carter and Dortha Hooker Carter. Frankie was one of a kind. He was a friend to all and never met a stranger. Frankie lived life large and to the fullest and will be missed by all.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harlie Carter.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Carter of Bells; two sons, Zach Carter and wife Stephani of Savannah and Zeb Carter of Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Steve Bailey of the Cypress Community; father-in-law, Bobby Jernigan of Bells; brother-in-law, Robert Jernigan of Bells. Other survivors include three grandchildren, Madison Hunt, Caelyn Hunt and Denton Thomas Carter.
A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Frankie will be held Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Grace Chapel, 210 Oakmont Cove in Bells.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to Heavens Cradle at www.heavenscradle.org, Wesley’s Warrior Foundation at www.wesleyswarriors.org or NOAH in memory of Frankie. As everyone knows, Frankie was a simple man so the family requests that everyone dress casual and comfortable to the memorial gathering.
