Milan, TN- Funeral services for Mr. Gary Chapman Fly, age 57, will be held at 11 a. m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home with Bro. Russell Little and Hulon Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery.
Mr. Fly died Saturday, June 13, 2015 at his home.
He was born September 9, 1957 in Trezevant, TN to Chapman Fly and Martha Welch Fly. He graduated high school from Lockport Central High School in Lockport, IL. Gary worked for 27 years at Argyle Graves Chevrolet and also worked at B & B Tire in Milan. He was an avid Nascar fan, deer hunter and was known as Gare-Bear by his niece.
Mr. Fly was preceded in death by his father, Chapman Fly.
He is survived by his wife, Angel Darnell Fly; children, Jenifer Crouch and husband Brad; Kyle Fly; mom, Martha Welch Fly; sisters, Janice Kurtenbach and husband Jay, Vicky Saenz and husband David; brothers, Rick Fly, Steve Fly and wife Elaine; grandchildren, Cheyenne Crouch, Blake Crouch; nieces, Haley Fly, Caylie Kurtenbach, Bethany Fly; his canine companion, Shelby Lee.
Visitation with the Fly family will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday and 10 - 11 a.m. Tuesday at Medina Funeral Home.
