Mr. Gary Moore, age 75, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

He was born on May 18, 1947 in Gibson County to the late Herbert Lee Moore and Janie Moore.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by two sisters, Pat Dean and Royce Ann Norman.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Moore of Big Sandy, Tennessee; son, Thomas Moore, Jr of Dyer, Tennessee; daughter Candy Walton and her husband David of Medina, Tennessee; and sister, Cherry Harrison and her husband Hershel of Trenton, Tennessee.

Other survivors include five grandchildren, Gary Thomas Moore, III, Sunny Halbrook, Shiann Ledbetter, Nicole Moore and Shannah Harrison and one great grandchild, Ella Mae Mathieu.

A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
