George Cint, Jr.

Mr. George Cint, Jr. age 88 of Bells, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born September 6, 1930 in Crockett County to the late George Cint, Sr. and Josephine Griffin Cint. Mr. Cent lived almost all of his life in Bells. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1950 to 1954. During the Korean War, he served in French Morocco in Africa having being ranked a Staff Sergeant.
Before entering the Air Force, he managed U-Tote-Em Grocery Store in Dyer. Upon returning home from the service, he helped manage the U-Tote-Em Grocery Store in Bells. Mr. Cint later became a land/farm manager for Winter Garden and United Foods now Pictsweet in Bells.
Mr. Cint was always extremely industrious, always working on his on farm that he bought while holding down another job. He always loved the land and it’s animals as he was always busy with cows, pigs, cotton, corn and soybeans.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers, Carolina Davis, Joe Cint and Ray Cint.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years, Betty Jo Moore Cint of Bells as well as special nephews, Dean McClimans and Jim Davis.
Serving as pallbearers are Cole Medlin, Matt Outlaw, Billy Pearson, Gene Outlaw, Taylor Outlaw and Scott Pearson. Honorary pallbearers are Hinton Climer, Jimmy Grammer, Mark Outlaw, Keith Cint, Sam Lewis and Jimmy Outlaw.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Cint will be conducted Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Bells First Christian Church with the pastor, Bro. Randy Jetton officiating. Burial will follow in Belleview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from noon until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to First Christian Church, P.O. Box 42 Bells, TN 38006.
