Mr. George Gambill, age 84, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home in Humboldt.

He was born on June 23, 1939 in Beckley, West Virginia to the late Charles Gambill and Nancy Fortner Gambill. George proudly served in the United States Army. He worked as a chauffeur at the White House, for a year, during John F. Kennedy’s administration. George worked at Allsteel for thirty three years and retired as the Operations Manager.

George is survived by his wife, Marilyn Gambill; children, Gary Gambill, Robin Walczak, Holly Fuhrmann and her husband DJ and Robert Erdely; stepson, David Koeller and his wife Amy: sister, Tammy Corsino and her husband Al; brother, Jack Gambill; twelve grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.on Monday, July 10, 2023 in the Chapel of Medina Funeral Home.
