George Gordon

George Joseph Gordon, 69, of Milan went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 14, 2021.  A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Milan on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at   12 P.M. with visitation from 11-12.

Mr. Gordon was born on August 29, 1951 in Gibson County, Tennessee to the late Wade and Wilton (Sue) Gordon.  He was a loving husband, father, poppi, and friend.  He worked 30+ years as a roofer and sheet metal foreman and attended First Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and watching classic, western movies.

Mr. Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Wanda Kay Gordon of Milan; children, Reanna Wallace of Milan, Joanna Roberts of Nashville, and Andrew (Drew) Gordon of Humboldt; and 4 grandchildren, Noah Wallace, Lincoln Roberts, Austin Roberts, and Collin Gordon; sisters, Trish Tidwell of Holly Springs, MS, and Donna Ferrell of Bradford.
