Mr. George Waymon Jewell
Kenton, TN - Funeral services for Mr. George W. Jewell, age 88, will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 12 noon in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home with Bro. Hoyte Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Rutherford Cemetery in Rutherford, TN.
Mr. Jewell died October 21, 2015.
He was born in Rutherford to the late Grover and Clara Crockett Jewell. Mr. George was a U. S. Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Tim and Mike Jewell; first wife, Sue Carolyn Jewell, second wife, Jean Jewell.
Mr. George is survived by his son, Steve Jewell and wife Sandi; daughters, Jo Anne Halliburton and Jenny Hopper; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Crouse; brother, Buddy Jewell.
Visitation with the Jewell family will be held Saturday, October 24 from 9 am until service time at 12 noon.
