Tony Douglas, age 66, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at his home surrounded by his wife, Lori, best dog friend, Whittleman, and his other four legged babies.

He was born on November 10, 1955 in Henderson County to the late George "GW" Douglas and Peggy Roberts. Tony was a current member of Eldad Baptist Church and was a former member of Springhill Baptist Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee. He loved cutting up with his friends and never met a stranger. Tony fought his illness with a smile on his face and belief in our Redeemer.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his beloved son, Patrick and grandparents,  Jack and Ruby Roberts and Guy and Ruby Douglas.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Tubbs-Douglas and four siblings, Jeff Douglas, Jackie Douglas, Wayne Haislip and Pam Webb. Tony will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Eldad Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Eldad Baptist Church.
