Glenroie "Glen" Ferguson
August 24, 1935 — October 13, 2016
Glen Ferguson, of Medina, TN is in the care of Medina Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 16th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm with Pastor Dale Denning officiating. Cremation will follow, as per Glen’s wishes.
Glen was born August 24, 1935 in Madison, IN and departed this life on October 13, 2016 in Jackson, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Dorothy Sullener Ferguson; wife, Myrlene Ferguson; sister, Judy Tyree Maddox; and brothers, Donald and Wiley Eugene Ferguson.
Glen was in the transportation field over 35 years, working with various companies. He was a member of Meridian Baptist Church, Jackson; Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Club, Memphis; and 32nd degree Mason with St. Johns Lodge #332, Jackson. Glen served in the Air Force over five years, where he met his beloved wife, Myrlene Ferguson. They were soulmates over 56 years, until Myrlene’s death in 2013.
Glen is survived by his daughers, Deborah Ferguson and Nancy (Jeff) Rollins; grandchildren, Sarah (David) Paschall, Ian Schuff, Sam Rollins; and great grandson, Max Paschall.
