H.D. Mooney age 76 of Scotts Hill, TN is in the care of Medina Funeral Home. Funeral services are 2 pm Monday January 23, 2017, at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Sardis, TN with Bro. Eugene Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation is 10 – 2 pm Monday at the church.

Mr. Mooney was born November 18, 1940 in Henderson Co. TN and departed this life January 21, 2017 at his home. He was a retired truck driver for M&M Trucking. His parents precedes him in death; Vester D. and Martha Ann Goines Mooney, sister; Eura Mae Mooney.

Mr. Mooney is survived by his wife of 52 years, Angie Mooney; son, Doug Mooney (Carol), grandchildren; Lindsey, Lauren and Logan Mooney, special nieces and nephews; Frances Perry, Betty Sims, Marie Kennedy, Dale Mooney, Bobby Mooney and a special family friend, Doug Baker, along with many other family members.
