Hellen Woods

Mrs. Jewell Helen Woods age 89 of Scotts Hill, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at her home.

She was born January 6, 1932 in Decatur County to the late Ervin Britt and Thelma Patterson Britt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Coy Mangrum and Ray Woods; two brothers, Glen Britt and Max Ray Britt; one sister, Geneva Wade; grandson, Waylon Lomax; grandson-in-law, Jerry Phillips.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Lomax and husband Billy; sister, Janice Bivens; two brothers, Terry Britt and wife Glenda and Harold Britt and wife Rachel; two grandchildren, Dwina Phillips and Brian McLin and wife Sonya. Other survivors include three great grandchildren, Matthew Austin, Laura Parker and husband Ken and Zack McLin and wife Turner with two great-great grandchildren, the stars in her eyes, Kenzley and Lyza Parker as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Scotts Hill Methodist Cemetery with burial to follow.
