Hobert M. Crouse,Jr.(Butch) born August 14, 1937, passed away Nov. 8, 2012 at ElmCroft of Jackson. Memorial Services will be 7:00 pm Friday, Nov.16, 2012, at Chickasaw State Park, Sycamore Lodge.
He was born in Chester County, the son of the late Hobert and Ethel Moten Crouse.
He joined the Navy in 1954,retiring in 1974 after 20 years, then working for Frito Lay as sales rep until 1996. In 1997 he returned to Tennessee from Bremerton, Washington where he had made his home for the last 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Holmes Crouse of Medon; three daughters, Teri Blythe(Butch) and Toni Crouse of Jackson, Robin Short (Darrin) of Bremerton, WA; two sons, Mike Crouse of Bremerton, WA. and Wayne Jones(Angie) of Knoxville, TN; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Crouse and Ray Crouse of Henderson; four sisters, Evelyn Hysmith and Betty Robbins of Finger, Barbara Cherry(Billy) of Henderson and Linda McIllwain of Lexington.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Tina Davis and Amanda Jones, two brothers, Tommy Crouse and Billy Crouse, two sisters, Jessie Lee Howell and Elma Dyer.
