Ira Gene Foster, age 83, of Humboldt, TN is in the care of Medina Funeral Home where a visitation will be held 5-8pm Tuesday, October 24, 2017. A graveside service will be held 11am Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Gibson County Memory Gardens.
Gene was born October 30, 1933 to John & Florida Foster in McNairy County, TN and departed this life October 22, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Scott & Bradley Foster; and sisters, Joyce Mills & Quinn Corgiardo.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Foster; sons, Jeff (Dana) Foster, Steve (Debbie) Foster, & Mike Foster all of Jackson, TN; grandchildren, Whitney Simpson, Haley Foster, Ryan Foster, Matt Foster, Andrew Foster, Kristi Johnson, & Tony Carroll; great-grandchildren, McKenzie & Ainsley Simpson, Claire Foster, & Katherine Johnson; brothers, Von, Herman, Leon, & John Foster; sisters, Patsy McCormick, Kathy Poole, Lola Ada, & Felicia Schaeffer; and several nieces & nephews he loved as his own.
